Chaco eagles confirmed from Pampa San Lorenzo, Beni Department
Ruben Layme and colleagues reconfirmed the presence of the Chaco eagle (Buteogallus coronatus) in the Cerrado de Riberalta KBA in the pampas amazónicas of the Beni Department, Bolivia. See the post here!
New Endemic Bird Described from the Beni Savannas in January 2026!
Paul van Els and colleagues described the Beni greenlet (Hylophilus moxensis) as a new species that is known only from marshland scrub in the seasonally inundated savannas of Beni. Download the paper here!
